EZCat was designed to be as limitless as possible. The following is a list of some of the more common features clients have used in their web sites. Many of the features can be turned on or off easily within the administrative system. Even the design of the page can be modified in case you wish to have the images on the right of the description, or the description below the images, etc....

EZCat was designed to be easily customized to fit your “unusual shopping needs” or “special item specification”. It allows you to

  • Specify an unlimited number of items (inventory) in your system (more than 10,000 have been successfully tested)
  • Allow customers to purchase items and ship them to someone else in a very logical and intuitive way.
  • Uses secure SSL and PGP encryption for maximum security.
  • Logically group or categorize your items for easy customer navigation
  • Items can have up to 3 unlimited options for selecting size, color, or whatever you wish.
  • Place your items into multiple categories without having to define the same item over and over.
  • Upload up to four individual photos of each product and allow the customer to choose which they wish to view.
  • Reward your customers with free gifts or discounted “upsell” items based on their final purchase amount. “Your free gift for purchasing over $100.00 of products...”
  • Define special discount or promotional codes that are provide discounts to certain customers
  • Track your email campaigns by supplying special link syntax within your e-mails to really know how well those campaigns pay off.
  • Ask surveys (optional or required) at the end of the customer’s shopping experience and have the results emailed along with the order.
  • Great pains were taken in the admin interface to ensure that data entry is easy and not duplicated.
