Definition Category - A logical set of items and groups that share the same general classification.
There are many ways to organize your items in EZCat. The most basic method is to place the items and groups into categories so your viewers can easily find what they are looking for as they are browsing your web site.
Shown below is an example of a number of items and groups that are placed in a category. The display can be adjusted in many ways including increasing/decreasing the number of columns and overall results shown per page as well as giving more or less detailed information per-item.
A. Category/Subcategory names are clearly displayed in the header of each page.
B. A description area for each category can introduce the category itself and/or give additional information regarding the items to be found there. Full HTML text formatting is available in this area.
C. Photos from groups and items are automatically indexed by EZCat based on the category content. No need to upload additional photos.
D. Prices for items (and price ranges for groups) are conveniently displayed with each item/group in the category.
E. Category/Subcategory lists are “paged” into less cumbersome item lists. A page number and number of pages is clearly displayed in the header and, if more than one page is required, page navigation will appear on the bottom of the list.
F. Item/Group descriptions are clearly displayed with each photo.
